Breathing new life into a local service through clever content and clean, confident design.
Studio Mission: To transform a stagnant and inconsistent social media presence into an engaging, branded space that attracts new customers and reactivates past clients, all while educating the public about pest prevention in a friendly, trustworthy tone.
The challenge
Green Valley Pest Control had a great reputation offline but their digital presence didn’t reflect it. Their social platforms were outdated, underutilised, and lacked a consistent visual identity, meaning they weren’t attracting the volume of customers they could be.
They needed:
- A visual refresh that still felt professional
- A friendly but expert tone to educate and reassure clients
- Content consistency to build trust and visibility
- A better balance between promotion and value

- Friendly, knowledgeable, and grounded — never fear-mongering
- Educational captions with clever hooks and clear calls to action
- Adapted to Facebook and Instagram best practices
We broke the project into key deliverables that would build a strong, sustainable foundation:
1. Visual Identity for Social
- Developed a mini brand guide tailored to online use
- Introduced a consistent colour palette (green, charcoal, off-white)
- Created Canva post templates for tips, testimonials, FAQs, and service highlights
- Designed custom pest icons and background textures for cohesion
2. Content Themes & Pillars
We developed five core content themes to rotate and maintain engagement:
Bug Bites: Quick tips and pest facts
Myth-Busting Mondays: Debunking common pest control fears
Meet the Team: Humanising the brand with friendly faces
Before & After: Service results with photos or simple infographics
Client Spotlight: Testimonials and rebooking reminders
4. Engagement & strategy
We built an engagement plan that included:
- Branded hashtags (e.g. #GreenValleyTips, #BuggedNoMore)
- Interactive Stories (polls, Q&As, “Guess the Pest”)
- Educational value-first posts that drive shares and saves
- Soft CTAs: “Book your seasonal check,” “DM for a quote,” “Tag a neighbour who needs this”
The impact
Green Valley’s platforms were transformed from quiet and forgettable to engaging, informative, and visually cohesive. Their posts started being shared by local residents, DMs increased, and existing customers rebooked with ease.
